Adam & Amy - As the editor of a community newspaper in Riverhead, I'm really fascinated and excited by this subject. Your presentation yesterday was very informative and helped sprout a whole lot of new ideas in my head. I even blogged about it this morning. I started a blog Aug. 24, as a very tentative experiment. (civiletti.blogspot.com) Some of the 'conversation' has been rather challenging for me, mostly because I was hoping for something more than back-handed swipes and name-calling about local elected officials. But it is a local election season...And as you told us yesterday: Be prepared to be surprised.

Thanks for coming to the press association's convention and giving all of us stodgy tradtionalists something to think about.
